Alaska Airlines Discriminates Against Heterosexuals.

I really find this amazingly stupid and shocking. Alaska Airlines is giving gay people a 10% discount on air travel to NYC/Newark. Is this not discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation?

Contemplating Evil

The story of Baby Reilly/Baby Grace is really getting to me. It is making me physically ill to think about it. I've been through the "terrible twos" twice, once with a very headstrong child. It was exceedingly trying and there were times when I scared myself as to how angry I got. I think every parent has been there. But NEVER EVER have I contemplated ANYTHING this cruel and brutal, even for another adult, much less a 2 year old child. I suspect we still have not gotten the whole story from the admissions Trenor has made. I have to wonder if Zeigler was attempting to molest her and did so much physical damage to the child that she was screaming and fighting uncontrollably and there was no way that the child's injuries could be explained by anything but molestation. Zeigler, deciding that the child could not be allowed to live, inflicted the skull fractures, the suffocation, and the drugging in order to gain control of the situation. The reason I wonder about that is the fact that they kept the body for months before they disposed of it and the utter indifference both showed towards the child's suffering and the child's dead body afterwards. Most "sane" murderers attempt to distance themselves from the bodies of their victims as much and as quickly as possible and eliminate as many links to the victim as possible. Keeping a rotting corpse in the Houston heat for months was highly likely to draw attention to them. It is frankly amazing that nobody investigated what must have been an extremely sickening smell and wondered what was smelling so badly. Those who keep mementos of their kills are usually psychopaths that enjoy the very act of killing, vs those who kill for more conventional reasons. The keeping of the body combined with the internet relationship and the very quick move, marriage, and killing makes me wonder if this was planned all along by Zeigler. And I think she was at the least a passive conspirator in it, if not an active participant. It would sicken me, but not surprise me, if turned out that she was aware of his plans and offered up her daughter as a kind of "human sacrifice" in order to buy his love. Zeigler was apparently a very controlling person, Trenor was apparently submissive and may have come under his thrall much the same way hostages can come to identify with their captors or battered wives come to identify with and defend their abusive husbands. It is a form of mind control. Does that excuse her actions? Not in the least. What is further disturbing is that She is apparently pregnant with Zeigler's child. Had they not been caught, I have to wonder what this child's fate would have been at his and her hands. Would it have been their next victim? I suspect the answer would be yes. I sincerely hope that the Galveston County DA's office charges both of them with Capitol Murder, a Jury of 12 convicts them, and they are quickly executed. Such evil cannot be allowed to continue to live.

Speaking of strange bedfellows......

The rumor of the day is that the "carpetbagger" is also a "rug muncher" as well.There have been rumors that Hillary is a lesbian and that her marriage to Bill was just a sham show marriage of convenience. That would of course explain why he has been going around sticking it in every orifice he could and she didn't seem all that terribly upset about it until he got caught. There now have been two women that have been purportedly linked to her romantically. I'm sure that the Hillary Girl will be happy to hear that.


One is her old roommate from Wellesley College, Eleanor “Eldie” Acheson, who is an admitted lesbian and a lawyer and served as the liaison to the gay community for presidential candidate John Kerry in 2004. Apparently Hillary was a virgin when they met and Eldie was her "first", of either gender.


The other is the beautiful Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton's Aide de Camp. Abedin is certainly an upgrade from Eldie in the looks department, I must admit.

Now are all these rumors poof of anything? No they are not, but I will say that circumstances certainly seem to make them fit together. And when repeated rumors of this type keep emerging about a political figure, more often than not, there is some nugget of truth to them. Anyone remember Larry Craig? I rest my case.

Politics and Bedfellows

First it was The White Supremacists supporting him. Then it was the Spammers supporting him. Now the Pimps and the Whores are supporting him. And what does Ron Paul say about all these nutcases and slimeballs crawling out of the woodwork to tuck money into his G-string? He says he'll take money from anybody, and so he has.....

Baby Grace has a name, Evil has two more faces

Meet 2 year old Riley Ann Sawyers, AKA Baby Grace. Her broken and decomposing body was found in a plastic box on a desolate beach on a small island in Galveston Bay back in October. Her mother, Kimberly Trenor, and stepfather Royce Zeigler, have been arrested in her death. Kimberly Trenor was living with Robert Sawyers in Mentor Ohio and the couple lived with Robert Sawyers' mother, Sheryl Sawyers, for two years. While still married to Robert, Kimberly began communicating with Royce Zeigler online early this year. Zeigler began sending expensive gifts to Kimberly while she still lived with Robert. In late May or early June, Kimberly left with her daughter and moved to Spring to marry Zeigler. The couple claim that an Ohio CPS agent took the child from their home in Spring in July, but there was no Ohio CPS agent. Perhaps Zeigler didn't know about Riley until her and her mother arrived in Spring, or perhaps Zeigler is a previously unknown/unreported pedophile and Riley was one of the attractions, either with or without her mother's knowledge. At this point it is hard to say what the situation was in the home, but the result is the same. Riley is dead, probably at the hand of either Zeigler or Trenor.

ICE to Irving: "No mas!"

ICE has notified Irving Texas that they will no longer accept criminal aliens arrested for Class C misdemeanors, which include: speeding, assault, public intoxication and hot checks. Seems that there are just too many for ICE to handle. Of course you could also point to the fact that if ICE had done their jobs, there wouldn't be so dang many to begin with too.

So ICE is now telling the city with the most effective criminal alien program in the state that they must stop enforcing the law because ICE can't keep up. That my friends, is a travesty.

US v Miller is going DOWN!

The Supreme Court agreed today to hear the DC v Heller case. I predict US v Miller is going down in flames and I am happy as a clam about it.

TEAMing up to disenfranchise a Veteran

This Veterans Day, I'd like to tell you how two Disabled Air Force vets were denied their hard fought right to vote by a nameless, faceless bureaucrat, and how I helped to get them back on track.

Tuesday was election day. That might come as a surprise to a lot of people, since in my precinct only 178 people (out of 3008) managed to wander into the polls. Out of those 178, four I had to vote provisionally because they had been deleted off the rolls in error. Here is how that happened:

Two couples, who had moved from Montgomery County to Harris County a little over a year ago had done what they were supposed to do and sent in new voter registration cards, and change of address forms to DPS and had received new voter registration cards for their new address. One couple then used their new cards to vote last May. As part of the new TEAM program in the Texas Secretary of State's office, that information was uploaded from Paul Bettancourt's office to the Sec. State's. As a matter of course, the Sec. State's office sent a notification to Montgomery County to delete them from the polls in Montgomery County. Either that deletion was ignored, or it was overridden, because when Montgomery County uploaded their information to the Sec. State's office, they were back on Montgomery County's voter rolls. That triggered a deletion notice to Harris County, which duly deleted them from the system again on the assumption that they had moved back to Montgomery County. Montgomery county then finally snapped that these people don't live in Montgomery County anymore and deleted them. Now these people don't exist in EITHER county.

One couple this happened to were two disabled Air Force Vets, who both work for the VA, and who were married on Veterans Day. They came to the polling location to make sure that Proposition 9 passed. Prop. 9 reads:

"The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to exempt all or part of the residence homesteads of certain totally disabled veterans from ad valorem taxation and authorizing a change in the manner of determining the amount of the existing exemption from ad valorem taxation to which a disabled veteran is entitled."

Luckily, it passed with a large margin anyway, but the bottom line is that I had two people who had fought and paid a terrible price to ensure our continued ability to govern ourselves in the longest running democracy on the planet, and I had to deny them the right to vote like everybody else because they were not on my poll books thanks to a screw up on the part of some nameless faceless clerk in Montgomery County. They were absolutely LIVID that their right to vote was being denied to them, but they were no more livid than I.

I voted them, and the other couple, provisionally, and for many, perhaps most election judges, that would probably have been that. They'd hope that some other clerk got it fixed, but not me. Hoping someone else did their job was not good enough for me. That was how we got in this mess to begin with. So Wednesday, I got on the phone to Karen Richards in the Secretary of State's office, who helped figure out just where the process had fallen over and pinpointed the data coming out of Montgomery County as the culprit. She then reinstated these four people in the state database and sent notification to Harris County to reinstate them in the county database. That had the result of causing the four provisional votes to be opened and counted.

I sincerely hope that the Sec State's office gets these glitches fixed. While four out of 178 is only about 2% error rate, that is still far too high. This is the number of provisional voter's I'd expect out of a presidential election with much higher turnout. I am not looking forward to the primaries.
