Obama the Patriot, Part II

By now everyone has heard about Barack Obama's choice to remove his US Flag lapel pin, and his lame justification that he felt that wearing a lapel pin was an empty gesture. However this picture from the October 1, 2007 issue of Time magazine shows him on stage at a Steak Fry for Senator Tom Harkin, (D-Iowa) with Shrillary and Bill Richardson on Sept 17 in Indianola, IA as the National Anthem is being sung. Note the placement of his hands. Last time I checked my anatomy book, the heart is NOT in your crotch, unless you are an alien.

Wow, I guess if you comment frequently enough on the Chronicle's website you can get them to link to your own blog. It seems you were successful seeing as how I am now commenting on your blog.

So here's my comment to your post: Who cares? All the major issues facing the nation right now and you spend your time finding a picture of a presdiential primary candidate without his hand on his heart. With all the self important jibbersih you leave at chron.com about journalistic integrity and the sad atate of the mass media I would expect you to at least write about something more substantial than this. You make Paul Burka look like a pulitzer prize winner.

Who cares? I do, for one. Apparently you do too or you wouldn't have left a comment here.

more than anyone cares to read. I'm with the dude. If DIAT cared enough to follow this blog he'd have more to contribute than his very ill-informed commentary.

Hey, DIAT? Do YOU have a blog that anyone links to from the Chronicle?

I doubt it!
