Alaska Airlines Discriminates Against Heterosexuals.
I really find this amazingly stupid and shocking. Alaska Airlines is giving gay people a 10% discount on air travel to NYC/Newark. Is this not discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation?

Also, any intelligent non-homophobe would simply purchase a ticket through the partner website and get a discount as well.
ALSO, is it discrimination to give senior citizen discounts too? Maybe all middle-aged people should start complaining about that major injustice!

I think they also give monks a discount if they have enough frequent friar miles.
Personally I think this is wrong but I'm not sure if legally it is. I wonder how they check a person's qualifications though.

Anon, so two wrongs make a right? By failing to speak out against the practice, gays are doing their own cause harm. If you want laws to protect you from discrimination based on sexual orientation, you need to protest EVERY case of discrimination, not just the ones that offend you personally. By applauding this, you become hypocrites.
Giving a senior discount, is indiscriminate of a gay senior. Giving a discount because of sexual preference is ludicrous. I envision a day when all new born babies will be called " child" and dressed in non-sexual identity clothing until they make up their own minds what they are. In the mean time, we have a group in this country who only want to be identified by their sexual preference. Sad.
Have you heard the lastest that a sperm donor in NY has been ordered by the courts to pay child support for a lesbian couple who ASKED him to donate his sperm so they could have a child?
Disgusting. What's up with the courts in this case? That's garbage.
American Airlines has the same type of Web Site seems to me a dollar is a dollar no matter who's spending it.
