I was toddling around my parents' living room floor. I remember the evening because they invited two other couples over to eat and watch the landing. They all sat looking at the TV; I'd never seen anything like it. I later learned that that was the moon landing night.
I was still somewhere on a cosmic drawing board, not ready for manufacture just yet.
Mom was holding me on her lap. I was 10 days away from my 1st birthday.
Saw it in Pontresina, Switzerland, on an old B&W television. I was just about to turn 9. How long ago it seems.
