Advice to a would be rapist....

When you are busy raping a woman, don't answer the cell phone when your wife calls to ask where you are and what you are doing.....

There's something very fishy about that woman's story. Raped twice by the same guy? Come on!

Eh, maybe not so much... Rape is by definition a very personal crime. Most women feel some level of shame associated with being the victim of it. Some also fear reprisal. The victim may also have not wanted to hurt the rapist's wife or children by dragging their family through such a ringer. Perhaps she was drunk and was unable to effectively say no and therefore feels in some way responsible. Or perhaps she was in a relationship and did not want her partner to know. Or perhaps they were having an illicit affair and she was breaking it off and he was having none of it and she didn't want the wife to know. There may be a number of reasons why it was not reported. Only about half the rapes committed are thought to be reported.

Perhaps, and it's estimated that probably less than 50% of all rapes are ever reported - for many of the reasons you stated. My sister was held at knife point in a hospital/clinic restroom by a would-be rapist and was fortunate enough to roll under a stall to get away from the jacka$$ who tried to rape her. Fortunately, he got caught and received 2 years in jail for his offense, but how does the victim truly ever get over the "trauma" of that kind of event? Horrendous! If the guy is really guilty I hope they bury him under the jail!

Let me rephrase that....he was an "illegal" from Texas!!!! He spent some time in jail in Texas, was released, and ended up in Minnesota. Why he wasn't deported is beyond me!

Better?????
